Schierke am Brocken is a district of the city of Wernigerode in the district of Harz in Saxony-Anhalt of Germany and the last village below the Brocken peak. The place Schierke am Brocken lies in the resin. Schierke am Brocken is bordered to the north by the Harz National Park and is located in the Harz / Saxony-Anhalt Nature Park southeast of the Brocken, southwest of the Hohnekamm, north of the Barenberg and east of the mountain group of Wurmberg, Grosser Winterberg and Klein Winterberg. Schierke am Brocken lies at about 600 to 650 meters above sea level in the valley of the Cold Bode, which is called south of the village Elendstal and is designated as a nature reserve.
